ASPIRE Program

The Santa Paula Unified School District manages six separate after school programs at the Bedell, Blanchard, Glen City, Isbell, McKevett, Barbara Webster and Grace Thille school sites in collaboration with the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clara Valley. The ASPIRE Programs are funded by the Education and Safety Program (formerly the After School Learning and Safe Neighborhoods Partnerships Program). All programs are offered at no cost to families – it is a privilege to participate in ASPIRE. The ASPIRE After School Program is designed for parents that work outside the home. If there is concern that a parent is not working outside the home, we may ask for verification of employment throughout the school year. If you cannot provide the Coordinator with this information your child may be dismissed from the ASPIRE Program.

ASPIRE Programs at Bedell, Blanchard, Glen City, Isbell, McKevett, Grace Thille and Barbara Webster schools serve students from kindergarten through eighth grade. Each program divides the students into groups according to age/grade level with a staffing pattern of 1 staff member to every 20 students, which meets our grant regulations.

For registration or questions regarding ASPIRE contact Emma Posadas at (805) 933.8816.
